The money problem
The money problem
New York City is tough poor economy or no. My bf makes (slightly) less than me, and I make a measly salary, as well. Whatever you'd imagine someone just turned 24 and works in online media makes. Although, he and I both struggle, he's been struggling more than me - especially recently. I've been reaching into my bank account to help him out, paying a bill here and there, and just straight up giving him cash. I expect him to pay me back, but I feel a strong guilt about doing so. I think back to all the dinners and presents and I can't help but feel like it's rude of me to issue him loans when he pays for me on dates. On the other hand, I need that money, too. I have college loans, credit card bills, MTA passes, you name it to pay for. Am I in the right to wan my money back? Or is my heart telling me that I should just let it go?
